Chrome Extension
Skeptical AI review of any webpage. Inline "Check" buttons on ChatGPT, Claude.ai, Gemini, Twitter/X, and LinkedIn. Uses your own API keys — no data leaves your browser except to your chosen AI provider.

chrome://extensionsin your browser - Enable Developer mode (toggle in top-right corner)

.crxfile onto the extensions page — or unzip and use "Load unpacked" - Pin the Checkie icon in your toolbar for quick access
How It Works
Click the floating Checkie button (bottom-right) on any page, or click "Review This Page" in the popup to run a skeptical review of the entire page content.
On supported platforms, a "Check" button appears next to each AI response or social post. Click it to review just that specific content.
Results appear in a slide-in panel with persona-by-persona analysis, confidence scores, and actionable suggestions.
All processing uses your own API keys. No Checkie server involved — content goes directly from your browser to your chosen AI provider.

Review Modes
| Mode | Description |
|---|---|
| Full Review | All personas run with detailed analysis, ratings, and actionable suggestions |
| Quick Review | Condensed single-table summary with one-line verdicts per persona |
Skeptic Personas
Every review runs through 5 built-in skeptic personas plus any custom personas you define:
Logic and Reasoning — cuts through fallacies, unsupported claims, circular reasoning, contradictions
Evidence and Accuracy — demands proof for unverified facts, cherry-picking, outdated info, misleading stats
Completeness and Blind Spots — sees what others miss: missing perspectives, edge cases, unstated assumptions
Bias and Framing — reflects confirmation bias, sycophancy, framing effects, cultural assumptions
Practicality and Real-World Fit — if it can go wrong, it will: feasibility, hidden costs, failure modes
User-defined — create your own skeptic profiles with custom names, focus areas, and review prompts tailored to your domain
Custom Skeptic Profiles
Beyond the 5 built-in personas, you can create unlimited custom skeptics from the extension popup. Each custom persona has:
- Name — give your skeptic an identity (e.g., "Compliance", "Security Auditor", "Data Scientist")
- Focus area — one-line description of what this skeptic looks for
- Custom prompt — detailed instructions for how this skeptic should analyze content
- Toggle on/off — enable or disable any persona per review without deleting it
Custom personas run alongside the built-in 5 and appear in the review panel with their own confidence ratings.
Custom Instructions

- "Always check for GDPR compliance"
- "Flag health claims without citations"

Domain-Specific Instructions
